Boy that got me out of hibernation. Leave it to folks in Berkeley. Sorry Cathy but that town seems to affect anybody who enters it. They never come out the same again. Nice town though for being in the middle of a metropolis.

Can't use caller ID because our Berkley, CA relatives (sorry, Dave) will refuse to call us if we have it. I guess they consider it an invasion of their privacy or something.

I totally agree with you about call waiting, Zem.  I really think it is
rude, and I refuse to have it.  I rarely ever use IMs because I am
so annoyed by the person who IMs me constantly.  Only if I know
the person doesn't mind  - like a friend in Buffalo who is hard to
get hold of otherwise.  I would never IM a person I wasn't sure
about.
However, I think a chat with this group would be fun.
