I'm happy to say they overwinter in my yard. Don't know what I would do if I had to dig up bulbs.

Have any of you stored Calla Lilies (Zantadeschia) overwinter? I've been researching summer bulbs and no one seems to agree on much but most of the details have been somewhat similar or I can hit a middle ground, like one says plant 2-3 inches deep, and another says 3-4 inches deep, so i can figure 3 inches is a good position. The biggest difference I have found is on storage of Callas. Most indicate dry or at most barely moist storage. However, I just looked at MOBOT's instructions and it says to store ina DAMP medium. there's a huge difference between dry and damp. I have stored them dry without a problem. Anyone else? What do you do? KittyMardi -
You have a stove in the bathroom? ;+)
Glad to hear you're going to be ok. If it had to happen, it's a good
thing it happened in winter - won't cut into gardening time! I have cats
like that, too.
