Re: Unknown flower


Aside from the fact that they are about one-fourth the size of a Hong Kong orchid tree leaf, Andrea, they do indeed look a lot alike. When Zem suggested poinciana, I thought maybe the dwarf one, Mexican flame brush, but that's not it either. Poinciana has a fern-like leaf, like an acacia or jacaranda, so that's not it. It's growing in the courtyard at Naples Botanical Garden, but I couldn't find a name tag associated with it. Guess I just have to grab one of the horticulturists next time I'm there and get an ident.
