Re: flood and flowers

Georgia's Pearl is lovely! Wow- that was alot of water. My husband went to Vacaville and helped a friend rip out the carpet and padding from a relative's house that flooded on the ground floor. Yucky! 2 inches of silt was left behind on the floor he said.

Theresa
Sacramento, CA- where it did finally stop raining a couple of hours ago and we had the most gorgeous sunset!

Hello folks

I added a few more pics of the flood. These were taken by the folks who
live on the property. Now when they took the pics the waters had receded
somewhat since the height of the flood was around 3am. Go to the second and
third pages of the site and you can see how high the water was. This is
taken from the road and the greenhouses are not visible but behind the
houses about 100 yards or so. The pic of the vineyard is looking from the
opposite direction. Much of this flooding is caused by the vineyards
reslopping their fields before they planted. Last picture is of Georgia's
Pearl who doesn't seem to care that the water flowed through.
