Pam, most plants around here in the ground I can't easily dig as early as
you need them, but I do have some things in pots you might be able to use.
Also, in the house I have a Bulbine 'Hallmark' you might like. It's hardy
for Cyndi, so maybe it would be for you too. It's a something of a
succulent, so would be able to handle your conditions. I uncover my pots at
the end of March and if you need anything, would be glad to send.
