Auralie, so glad to hear your husband is on the mend. What are the drs
doing for your lyme disease?

Not much. I finally got a positive blood test for Lyme, and took it to an
Infectious Disease Specialist. His response was "there are lots of false
positives out there." He reluctantly gave me another month of doxycycline -
my primary doctor had given me one month, but would not go further
without "documentation." The second round of the antibiotic is
helping, but my anxiety and tension over Chet's problems didn't
help. I am hopeful that now that he seems to be somewhat back
to normal I will begin to feel the improvement. I have had a couple
of good nights of sleep finally, so that makes me feel better.
The doctors never give me an alternative diagnosis - I've been through
this before - which is the most depressing part. It seems as if they
think I am malingering, which is not the case.
Thanks for asking,
Auralie
