I like the way trees look when they have lower
branches- more of a full look- but hate it when I
smack myself in the head when mowing... they have to
go, since this will be their second season here.

Wish you were closer, I would love to hear your
thoughts on which branches should go....

John made the comment about how it will be 50 later
this week and maybe he should go out and prune since I
am not around during daylight hours.... I cringed.

Donna, I love to prune!   I think you should leave
those lower limbs on.
The closer   foliage is to the roots the faster you
have   energy exchange.
Better to not prune newer trees until they get
established.
