I have a Black & Decker cordless power saw [NPP2018]. It's a pole saw, with an extension. It's about 6 feel long without the extension, and not terribly heavy. Very easy to use, in fact. I've never used the extension, but I guess that would make the thing 10 to 12 feet long. I think they recommend not cutting branches larger than 3 inch diameter, but I've cut some as thick as 6 inches. I've had the saw for a couple of years and used it maybe a dozen times--all on the first charging of the battery. I've looked through the manual and can't find anything about how long it actually is or what it weighs. There is a phone number--800-544-6986--for questions; presumably they know.

The closer foliage is to the roots the faster you have energy exchange.
Better to not prune newer trees until they get established.
