Guess that's one advantage to the pole saw--hard to get in the way of the chain when its 6 feet away from your trigger finger.

I think I went with electric because it's
smaller, lighter, and possibly

Donna, I love to prune!   I think you should
leave
those lower limbs on.

The closer   foliage is to the roots the
faster you
have   energy exchange.

Better to not prune newer trees until they get
established.
