The abundance of "new" or newly-rediscovered garden plants can be mind boggling! International research influences the number of plants available as well as the types of plants that will adapt to our climate. At this annual event, MSU Extension has brings together a portfolio of five regionally and Nationally known speakers who are well respected in the plant world. This all-day seminar will enrich your knowledge of newly released, widely sought after or international gems for every corner of your landscape.

"Stuck On Gardening!" Annual Spring Conference, Kent MSU Extension
Location: Amway Grand Ambassador Ballroom, West Michigan Home and Garden Show, Grand Rapids Michigan

Garden designers agree that great gardens begin in the classroom. This year's Stuck on Gardening Spring Conference is sure to grow on you with scintillating speakers including national television garden designer, P.Allen Smith. Lecturing on "Five things You Should Know about Color for Your Garden," Smith is the author of four inspiring gardening books. He is also host of the PBS television series "P. Allen Smith's Garden Home," and is the exclusive gardening authority for the Weather Channel. Smith makes regular appearances on the NBC Today Show, CBS Early Show and CNN. This year's conference is host to four other well known West Michigan horticulturists and garden designers that will lecture on topics ranging from new and exciting annuals, Rhododendrons and Michigan natives to designing your own "four-season" garden.
