I have never had to pay them to fix problems. My ISP, which is Time Warner, gave me a number that went directly to a tech. The problem was fixed quickly, and I've had no trouble since.

Oh, yeah, like Symantec is going to help me out. Norton is, in general,
a good program, but their customer service sucks. It's just $40 down the
tubes.
On a better note though, the Macafee on the XP just kicked into gear last night, so I'm in good shape on that one.
