Interesting, Donna. What a shame people have to do this sort of thing.
On a related note...
Not long after the availability of IE7 popped up on my screen and I
downloaded it, I also received a pop-up (not pop-up in the traditional
sense, but an update message) that I should update Windows Media Player to
version10. When I did it, the process showed it was downloading version 11,
even though the header said 10. When it finally finished, I had to restart.
but when I did, it came up w a fatal error and I was directed to a website
on how to fix it. The fix was to uninstall the new software which then
rolled it back to the previous version.
Everything is fine now, but that really had me worried for awhile.
