Re: ISP Change

Thanks, Daryl. The TV situation has been seamless with the exception of getting used to some changes in the channel lineup. The computer changes are scheduled to take place on January 18. Comcast says I'll be getting an e-mail from them with easy steps to make the changes on my end. Let's hope so.

Comcast took over our cable TV and internet a couple of months ago. Other than the annoyance of TV channel changes, it has (so far) been seamless). That was not the case when Adelphia bought out our old ISP and cable several years ago when we had significant outages for several months as they changed things to make them compatible.

If you have problems, keep a daily log of outages and ask for credit against your bill. The savings can be huge if they screw up as Adelphia did.

I just received word that my ISP is being changed from Roadrunner to Comcast. Comcast has replaced our local Time-Warner cable. I hope it doesn't cause me
a lot of trouble or confusion. Has anybody else had theirs changed by a
company?
