I had a cat that did that once and thought it had a hold. It had an
allergy, which made it sneeze, then made it not feel good. I don't know
why that would bring the cat's temperature up....but I do know that I am
a BIG allergy sufferer and sometimes I get a sinus infection from so
much aggrivation. Maybe that's Squint's problem.

Poor Squinty! Extra prayer for the baby. Keep us posted.
And poor you - I understand the getting torn up deal. Been there.

Jim, what exactly did the vet say was wrong? My vet says cats don't

She'd been sneezing and kinda lethargic for a day and a half, so I
decided
to take her to the vet. Vet took her temperature--on a scale of
1-to-10,
an 8. Temp was high. Vet gave her a couple of shots. Then cleaned
her
ears--same scale, a 12. Since I was holding her, I donated a pint
of
blood
in the process. This evening she's sleeping on the settee in the
parlor
and not sneezing as much.

Poor baby and poor you...........I wonder what's causing it. I've never
heard of either a dog or cat getting a cold. Interesting.
