Really? I did not know that. You know what? For some UNKNOWN reason, the
evergreen I had planted on my back porch (in the ground) died this fall.
I have no idea why. It's been there for 10-11 years.


And no, they will be planted in the ground. We are talking about a pipe
fence and country pasture.....way rural. The building is not bad to look
at, we just thought it would be PRETTIER if we didn't have to see it!

Well, I'd love to, but we need them to cover a fence row and there is no
way to baby them. I want an evergreen (not a cedar cause I'm way
allergic to them) that goes all the way down to the ground, and is very,
very hardy and fast growing. We sold a corner acre of our property and
we just want to separate our place from that.

O.K., my husband and I are looking for LARGE containers of Thuja -
hopefully a plant that is a foot tall (or taller). Has anybody seen this in their gardening mags? The ones I have seen are in little dinker pots.
