RE: Pruning roses


I think I'll do it and see what happens. I might hedge a little (get it?
Get it? :-) and cut them off at 3'. If the worst happens and they don't
come back, well, then I've made another move towards a garden more
appropriate to my desert climate!

Probably okay... as long as there are some healthy buds on the
remaining canes. May give you some oddly shaped plants for a couple of
years, if that matters.
