Re: something is eating my veggies!

I've often seen birds taking buds off of trees just as they open. Mostly Cedar Waxwings. What kind of finches do you have?

My neighbor told me the other day she got out her binoculars and saw the
finches eating the blooms off of the apricot tree. I have never heard of that 
before.
