One of my husband's uncles cooked venison...often he barbeques it like a
Boston butt...it is so good. From what I understand, if the deer is shot
standing still, the meat tastes better because it has less of the flight
chemicals. One of the best venison meals I've had was in a French
restaurant in D.C.
