Thanks. Property Tax Deputy. It will be a much more challenging position
with a bit better pay. Also includes overtime. They had a huge stack of
apps but only interviewed 2 people. The only reason I was considered is
because my current boss (Recorder) lent me out for a few days to the
Auditor. The supervisor was so appreciative. I casually mentioned that I
might be out of a job by spring and she told me they might be posting a
job soon. When they did post it, she called me to remind me and said she
had talked to the Auditor about me. I checked w my boss, asked him how
secure my job was and was not very encouraging. So I applied, they called
and I start next week. Wow. I cannot believe it.
My boss was very surprised. He said that because business is so bad, he
will not fill my position. But he also said that when it does pick up, he
will check w me first to see if I want to come back. I sort of hate to
leave. But the pay will be better and the job will be more interesting.
I hope I am up to it.

I tested and interviewed for the auditor's job, well not HER job,
but
the
one she has available. I'll know next week.

That's a bummer. Let's hope it's not that bad and the lady
can be saved.

Raining here too but for once I wish it wasn't. One of our

deal with it but not this week, he'd have to be at death's

pretty
upset because this animal is hurting and we're not home in

light
rain on and off.
Based on how she acts I think we'll probably have to put her
down
tomorrow. Very upsetting.
