Get ready if it is as bad as we have had it is bad.
We had a brown out a while ago but still have power... thank goodness.
It is still snowing and I can handle snow but we have a base of several inches of ice. Everything that fell for the first day has frozen solid. our trees and electric lines are covered with ice but not as much as some people. I would vote for you staying in... it will be over in a day or so... and it is not worth a broken bone or worse.

The weather forecasters here scared me to death with talk of an ice storm. They have been just about nonstop since 4:00 this morning. I called in at work because I live over 40 miles away with 2 lane country roads for the most part. We had freezing rain for a while, then snow/sleet mix, then sleet. Right now I'm not sure it's doing anything, but more snow is predicted for later. I can tolerate anything as long as we don't have an ice storm! Right now I'm planning on going to work tomorrow.

So far, no storm but we have one predicted. TN narrow and is on the
border of several fronts so predicting is difficult. We were supposed to
get snow today but it didn't arrive.
