You can buy saguaros at specialty nurseries. They ain't cheap! And if you really want to spend big bucks you can find big ones that got dug up because they were in the way of developments etc, there are companies that do that. I hear the big ones are in the 5 figures but most of them will survive. So they say, anyway.

The saddest thing I've seen here is the ones that got burnt during the fires in 2020.  I saw ones that had fallen over but still bloomed last year. So tough the plant didn't know it was dead yet.

In the spring I start on the front with more desert plants, including saguaros. (Tricky, because they are a protected species.)
