Re: OT/MRI Results

Thanks for all the well wishes. And all prayers are welcome Bonnie! I'm
trying to follow orders but it's hard. My dad and a friend are coming to
visit tomorrow so I've beentrying to at least straighten the house a tad.
And even that aggravates the condition so I'm quitting. They'll just have to
deal with a messy house!

I have had my friends offer to come and weed and plant for me Jesse' and I'm
going to take them up on it. My yard is starting to scare me..... and I have
several things that need to be put in pots until I can decide what to do
with them. They are getting too much water.

Anyway-hopefully this will be a non-issue soon.

Thanks again all!

Andrea, I'm so sorry to hear about your back!!! And your doctor is right
that surgery is a last resort. Most folks I've known that have had a back
surgery say they wish they had waited. Some lost mobility or flexibility
and others still had pain.

I've nursed Bill through a few bouts of severe back pain and I know you are
being very brave just to be up and e-mailing folks instead of flat on a hard
surface with anti-inflammatory and pain relief drugs. I would be most happy
to put you into the church's prayer chain and the Sunday prayers with your

God will tend your garden for a while. :>D

Subject: [CHAT] OT/MRI Results

Hi, all. For those of you who wanted to know, the Doc called yesterday with
MRI results. I have not one, but two bulging disks in my L4 and L5
yay me.

I am to see him again on July 11 and no gardening until then, at all. I also
discovered that it's not a good idea to mop or vacuum either as I have spent
the day lying flat on my back in pain. So I get to have a messy garden AND a
messy house. Not complaining mind you, I'm glad to know what's wrong finally
and that there are things we can do. Right at this particular moment I'm so
fed up I want to say "JUST OPERATE! FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!" But of course he
assured me that surgery is a last resort. So I'm on heavy duty
anti-inflammatory drugs, and I can't do anything. Except got to work and
around. So there we are! Just thought I'd let you all know. Oh, and I bought
gorgeous Hibiscus moscheutos that is this deep magenta. It's sitting in a
container of water till someone can plant it for me. Thank goodness it's
raining a lot right now!
