New plants

Doggone it! Another one of our few independent nurseries is going out of
business! One of my favorites too as they often have what no one else
around here is carrying. Only good part of this is their entire stock
has been reduced to 50% off...so needless to say I've bought a lot of
new plants recently. Here's the list, I'll try to get pics when I can.

Roses:
'The Fairy'--X 2
'Auguste Renoir'
'Sir Thomas Lipton'
'Mozart'

Verbascum 'Pink Petticoats'

an unidentified sedum...tag possibly says 'benneschtii'?

an unidentified Thalictrum (meadow rue)...tag possibly says 'delavagi'?

Fuscia magellanica X 2

Baptisias: White, Purple, and Yellow, one of each

Eupatorium (Joe Pye Weed) 'Bartered Bride'

St. John's Wort X 2

Wiegela X 2...haven't written down the name of cultivar yet

Scented Geraniums X 2...haven't written down name of cultivar yet

Perennial Oat Grass X 2

Hemerocallis (day lily) 'Stella D'Oro' X 6

Aquilegia (Columbine)

Stattice

and 4 other plants whose names elude me now.

About half of these are for my garden and half are for a teacher
appreciation garden at my kids' school that I'm going to start on next
week as soon as we are done with softball and baseball for the summer.
Total cost to me: $196 for plants originally valued in excess of $400.

Now we have to go and get the hostas my husband wants...all marked at
half price, too. And wasn't I planning on not buying any plants this
year? Duh! What was I thinking????????? :-)
