The only place we've had mosquitos is the one place we do not have a lot of anoles--the lath house. I think I'm going to try one of those pyrithrin [however it's spelled] bug bombs in the lath house one of these days.
I hear thunder. Maybe rain's on the way.

Well Kitty. it's true I have been trying to avoid DEET, but I may not
have a choice. I spend every evening and most of the weekend outside and
just have reached my tolerance level for being bitten on. Plus there's a
case of West Nile in Dallas already. I do not need that. Thanks for the
tip dear.

Pam,
If I just have a little to do outside, I just move fast and get done
quickly, while smacking them. Otherwise, I use Deep Woods Off - High Deet -
something you probably wouldn't want to use. I hate the smell so I have to
shower when I'm done.

OK, before these monsters carry me off, what do y'all use for
mosquito
repellant?
I've been using the Avon Skin So Soft BugGuard plus w/ pretty good results
in
past
years, but this year?? Might as well sprinkle sugar water on myself and
glue
little
knives and forks to my skin and set the table. Whacked one tonight that
was
the
size of a small wasp. I don't know what the deal is but I'm getting eaten
alive.
I was spraying myself earlier and before I got done, they were landing on
me
and
biting. This has got to stop.
