It's not just the $ that keeps my a/c off unless necessary. I have always
preferred having fresh air and gentle breezes in my house. I like to be
able to hear the crickets outside my window when I go to sleep and the birds
sloshing in the birdbath outside my window as I work on my computer. When
the trumpet lilies, the Nicotiana, and other fragrant flowers are blooming,
the breeze brings their fragrance lightly into the house. I don't like
closing my windows, shutting out the outdoors.
