RE: Banana; the cool zone type

But- One of the shoot lived and is still growing like crazy! Dave- you need
to know that this banana plant is my husband's (the non-gardener)favorite
plant. He regularly drags me outside to see it, saying "look it has another
leaf!" He is so very proud of the banana plant. It cracks me up, because
I'm out in the garden almost everyday- so of course I know it has new
leaves!

Ceres, Dave not Jim but you certainly can but you have to make sure you get
enough of the roots on the sucker. If you come up with no roots I think you
can kiss it goodbye. Use a sharp shovel or trowel and dig down at an angle
to get some of the roots. I destroyed four pups to get Theresa two good
shoots for her garden.
