Donna, the banana is not hardy but I over winter indoors.  I purchased it in 
KC.

    I have ordered many plants (unavailable in our area) from Singing Springs 
and have been delighted with the plants.  Most plants are shipped are in qt 
size but some half gallon size.  There is a $1.50 per plant shipping fee with 
an $8 min.  This is reasonable.
