I think that's the one I have that I got as 'Ecuador Pink', which it
is not. Lovely plant and an early and profuse bloomer tho' I've not
had foot high ones bloom for me! I've got 2 that I started from
cuttings and last year, dug and potted at about 5' and overwintered
in the garage...this year they are pretty spectacular if I say so
myself. Just got over a major flush and new buds are forming as it
has not been the usual hideous hot around here.
Donna, are you feeding and watering yours beyond belief? You can't
overfeed or overwater a brug in full growth.
Zem, my Chas. Grimaldi is finally setting buds. I dug that sucker
last year at about 8' tall and didn't cut it back much (that was job,
potting that up) - it's now close to 10' tall and this year will get
a severe haircut when I dig it up. I've found, tho', with that one
that it blooms better if it's taller...do you find that with yours?
