Wow....most certainly on my prayer list. Keep us posted.

Good morning!

How is everyone? I've been so busy with appointments. Well, the tests
are in, except the repeats. I have Systemic Lupus, asthma, Morton's
Neuroma in my feet (nerves crushed by bones), hypothyroidism and ovarian
cancer!! That'll teach me to hide out from doctors for 27 years, huh?
LOL! We're repeating the cancer tests; got that done yesterday so await
the results. August 13, I go for surgery!! Meanwhile, I have to squeeze
in 6 dental appointments to get all work done including two root canals.
My dentist started the first one, but it's calcified so I have to go to
a specialist in the next town. That'll be done on the 3rd and the other
on the 4th. Can you believe I actually had to cry on the phone begging
that I need this done as I can't go into surgery with infections, and if
they don't do the teeth I have to risk my life waiting for dental
appointments letting the cancer grow the whole time?!! My dentist in
town was great about it though and the girls even offered prayers! Then
I have to have a myoview the morning of the 3rd to ascertain that my
shortness of breath is just asthma. Of course, it's one of the symptoms
of ovarian cancer, too, but my doctor wants to be sure it's not my heart
causing it. A myoview is a stress test done with chemicals to increase
the heart rate like a treadmill would do. My doctor will be there, so
that tells me the test is risky. It'll be okay though. God's always with

THEN, a month ago the hospital called telling me that they have to
repeat the left mammogram followed by an ultra sound!! I went last
Tuesday morning. After the first one, they showed me the same spot that
was in the original one. While they were developing the second one, I
just paced around the floor saying, "Help me, Jesus!" Guess what?!! She
came back saying they couldn't find it. So, they did four more really
TIGHT, scrunching ones!! She came out after the last one saying to turn
my gown around and gave me a robe to put on to go down to ultra sound.
She said it was like trying to find a needle in a haystack!! The last
five didn't show that spot! The tech in ultra sound isn't allowed to
tell me anything, but being compassionate she just said, "You didn't see
me measure anything, did you?"

So, would all of you, please, pray that the surgery goes well, and that they find no cancer?! THANKS!

Well, two of my house plants don't look too happy. With all these
appointments, I haven't paid much attention to them, poor things! My
Black Knight Butterfly bush is doing well, and the butterflies flock to
it! ;0) John bought a gardenia for me recently and planted it yesterday
under the pecan tree in front, as it needs partial shade. My
honeysuckles are doing well and blooming, too. Some of the roses in
front aren't doing well and some look dead, while a few others are doing
okay and one is blooming. Sorry about my writing, but I can offer the
excuses that I have lupus, menopause and hypothyroidism that play with
your brain. LOL! Actually, I just don't feel like running the spell
checker and stuff or being careful about run on sentences. I know you
people don't care about it anyway, right? LOL!

Sorry I was away so long! I'll be away a while longer though. I have to
go away from my home to have the surgery. They wanted me to go to
Houston, but I told them that's just too far. Thanks in advance for your

God bless you!
