Yes on the former.  They're not really corrupting
sHORTurl's functionality;
just its innocence.

Basically, people are posting hort.net URLs to porn
Web sites to make it
look like it's a hort.net link and not a porn site.
Then people are
tricked and visit the adult page with lots of ads
and and stuff.
