Phew.  I'm glad someone laughed!  :)

I'm finding that it's incredibly difficult to determine if a site is an
adult site or not.  First I thought I'd have the system check Google and
see if it filtered the site out via SafeSearch, but Google doesn't seem
to be very good at it.

What I finally settled on was blocking URLs for sites that have a history
of sending junk mail/spam.  It may not necessarily be an adult site, but
it could be any kind of spammer.  Let me know if you run into any problems!
