Re: Attack of the blister beetles


In a nutshell, they "mob" a plant and start munching. If I don't  
catch them in time, the entire plant will be defoliated - this time,  
the leaves lost only 1/3 of their area. It is curious that the only  
clematis they have attacked are the Clematis fremontii and the non  
native C. montana...
