Zem, it sometimes seems to me that among the Eastern
establishment types the only politically correct jokes are
about rednecks and blondes. You can't even hint at a
Polish, Italian, Jewish or Irish joke. "Little moron" jokes -
are you old enough to remember those - are even more
incorrect. I guess I admire Dolly Parton who says "I don't
mind dumb blonde jokes because I know I'm not dumb -
and I'm not blonde, either." So even though certain people
who know I grew up in the area make a point of calling
Panama City, Florida, the redneck riviera, I just try to
ignore it.
