Thanks, Chris.
Fruit is about the size of a Bing cherry--3/4 to 1 inch diameter. Maybe a tad larger. Of note, it has three seeds, which have a total mass that is smaller than a bing's single seed. Shelf life is no where as good as the bing's however. Two, three days and it's mush, unfortunately.

I like this picture so much, I gotta share it. I took it last Friday.
It's a picture of the acerola--Malpighia glabra--aka Barbados cherry.
It's an absolutely delightful fruit that is so high in vitamin C that
three fruits will supply your RDA. At maturity, it's a small tree; mine
is still in the "large shrub" stage.

Very neat, Jim! It looks so cute. :) How large is the fruit? Chris --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT
