Re: leaking pond- definitely a crack

I tried to use something like that on the water line to my xtra toilet last
Cmas.  The hardware store people cautioned me it would not set up properly
if it were wet during the process.  It did hold the water at bay for an hour
or so, long enough to get a plumber in here to cap it off.
