Oh I am dreadfully naive.  I possess no subterfuge or hidden agendas in
my character and therefore do not recognize this trait in others. 
I'm so painfully honest that I do not recognize lies.  It's really a
disgusting curse.  Makes me very vulnerable in some ways.
