Re: Mileage (was RE: Just hot everywhere)


A distant neighbor has a horse boarding property, but at least 1/2 his land
is given over to a motocross track for his kids.  It looks like he brought
in fill dirt and mounded it in places to create a more diverse track.  On a
clear day you can hear the buzzing of those bikes all the way to my house.
I suppose the horses are used to it, but I'm glad I live no closer. Cyndi,
how do your animals react to the noise?

I don't mind kid noise as much as I made it sound.  It's just the really
excessive stuff.  And one sound that for some reason I cannot abide is
basketball.  If I'm working out front and the kids across the ways start in
with that monatanous thunk-a-thunk-a-thunk-a...I have to move to the back of
the house.
