You and me, too, Kitty. I wonder sometimes if I'm getting more curmudgeonly
or people are just more ridiculous every year. They, and I don't think it's
children, have been blowing things up here since Saturday. My animals no
longer pay any attention to it, but it drives me nuts. My neighbors, who
truly resemble the Jukes and the Kallikaks of sociology fame, are planning a
huge family blow-out complete with much loud talk, yelling and fiareworks.
Oh joy, oh raptaure, I have truly morphed into Weezer of "Steel Magnolias"
fame. Maybe the fact that I've suffered from a horrible summer cold for
over a week now has something to do with my attitude, but I doubt it...
