Sick Pepper?

  One of my Cayenne pepper plants looks sick. It looks wilted and parts of
the stem look purple. Any ideas? I don't know if the purple color is
normal..
it's only purple where some of the branches meet the main stem.
They were perfectly fine before they had to get moved. Could it be a
sunlight issue? According to my moisture meter the soil is wet.. (It stormed
again last night).Maybe it's just too wet? I've never grown Cayennes before!
