I think the whole state is a sprouting subdivision, unfortunately --
Very very dry here in the Gold Country but no fires in our area. What's disconcerting is that when there are fires on the east side of the Sierras, in Nevada, we often smell the smoke here. Not today though!

All okay here, Yucca Valley is...let me think...southeast of here. About 1
1/2 hours drive anyway.
It's going to be a bad fire season anywhere in So Cal I suspect.
