Re: weather
Very rare to get rain in the summer. There is usually a big high pressure
system that settles in over North Texas around Memorial Day and it stays
there until fall. Every once in a while a strong cool front from the
Rockies will blow through and give a brief respite from 100+ temps and
sometimes drop a bit of rain. But that's it. Hence all my xeriscape
plantings.
