hum.. mine has one good size (comparing to my small banana tree) and a
couple little ones growing off the root, I presume. Do you have to take
them off and how?
DH is making room in my mothers sun room for this to overwinter... seems
he wants 'fresh' banana's ... told him I really didn't think that was an
option in our zone 5 weather.

Donna, the banana does not tolerate much wind. I trim back the leaf next to
the trunk which will have loose brown coverage. I have another baby I need
to remove from my orginal plant. I will now have 4.
