Re: Gate rehab project

Thanks for your concern. I know- the past couple of days I've really started feeling like my old self. No naps in the afternoon, more energy, etc. I actually took today off of work (called in) because I am feeling better and was just dying to get a project done (I did the inside part of the gate yesterday AM and the outside part this AM). So... yes, I'm tired now, and my head is a bit more swollen feeling- but I feel so much better for having done something other that sit still. I just couldn't bear the thought of being inside at a desk all day today. But I will go back to work tomorrow- so I'll heal more then. And.....I'll wait until this weekend to tackle the big gate.....

Gate rehab project
So- I ripped of the fence boards on the bottom of the gate and replaced
them with lattice both inside and outside of the gate frame. Quite
pleased with the result and it will look better once it fade in color to
blend in with the rest of the fence.
