Thanks to all for the complements. If it would cool off a little again, I might get the big gates done- but no end in sight for our triple digits. I'd have to get up at 4 am to have a chance at anything close to 80 degrees!

Gate rehab project
So- I ripped of the fence boards on the bottom of the gate and replaced
them with lattice both inside and outside of the gate frame. Quite
pleased with the result and it will look better once it fade in color to
blend in with the rest of the fence.
