Re: African Iris bloom!

Wow- the one is the photo is gorgeous- but it also doesn't look like mine. Do these seed true to the parent plant??
Regardless of which iris it is, I really like it.

I dug up and divided the one I sent seeds from--it's growing in several pots and has not bloomed since that trauma. I keep promising to get them back in the ground, but haven't yet.

I was surprised too. The plant habit doesn't look like the one
I have (which IJ sent me), and the flowers don't resemble the
photos of Dietes I have. Theresa, could you post a shot of the
full plant ?
