Pam, the analogy might be more of a mother mourning a lost child who still takes care of the other children in the family....As others have said, I bet you two will do each other good, and Muffin is a great cat name --

Oh she's little. She's about 8 weeks old. I'm going to spend all daytomorrow going through this house to kitten-proof it. Sugar liked drinkingout of a bucket, that's got to go or this one could drown in it and like that. I just hope I'm doing the right thing.
