Re: OT - sign from above or no??

Oh- I always had girls growing up and as an adult until George (he's the one I rescued in Maine). He is without a doubt the most wonderful cat I've ever owned, and Calvin (the one I rescued in California) is #2. They are both wonderfully affectionate with each other and with me.

Yes well, I picked the kitten up today and went straight to the vet's
office. Good news, it's healthy. Bad news, it's a boy. The city secretary
said her daughter got very attached to the kitten over the weekend. I'm
going to call her in the morning and if she wants him, I'll take him back.
I want a girl cat. I've always had girls (dogs and cats) and that's what I
want. If she doesn't want him back I guess I'll keep him but I am very
disappointed.

Subject: [CHAT] OT - sign from above or no??

Some soulless troll left a little yellow tabby on the front steps of city
hall this morning. Little girl cat about 8 weeks old. I really don't
think
I'm ready, but this kitten is very sweet. She was trying to nurse my
finger. They say she has eaten solid food today so that's no
problem. They
want me to take her. The city secretary is going to take her home just
for
the weekend because they said the pound was full up until Monday. So,
everyone gets to vote. Sign from God and go get her on Monday? Or wait
until I've had time to heal, which I have not begun to at all at this
point. All opinions welcome and appreciated.
