To be fair and honest, yes I have had fixed male cats that spray, but they are smart enough to do it outside. I've known lots of people who have had spayed and non spayed female cats that have peed in their bathtubs, on their beds, all over their books, and various other places. And some that haven't.
Spot the Cat used to pretend to spray to get my attention when I was on a corded phone and he wanted to go outside.

My male cats (both fixed) have never ever sprayed either.

Yes well, I picked the kitten up today and went straight to the vet's
office.  Good news, it's healthy.  Bad news, it's a boy.  The city
secretary
said her daughter got very attached to the kitten over the weekend. I'm 
going to call her in the morning and if she wants him, I'll take him

I want a girl cat.  I've always had girls (dogs and cats) and that's
