sets seem to be albums. which means a free account can only have 3 albums?
But then they go on to say collections are groups of sets.  How many
collections could you have if you are only alowed 3 sets? Since I currently 
have 20 albums, I suppose I'd better be doing some condesing b4 my 3month
trial is up.

As to group pools:
Groups are a way for people to come together around a common interest, ...
if you can't find a group which interests you, it's super-easy to start your 
own.  Groups can either be public, public (invite only), or completely
private. Every group has a pool for sharing photos and a discussion board
for talking.

So I guess Gardenchat could have a group pool at flickr.

Unfortunately sharing seems to be more awkward.  You have to give guest
passes to people who don't have flickr accts so they can view your photos.

I don't know what a "set" or a "group pool" is. But it seems as if a free 
account is all I'd need anyway.  Who would upload a 10MB photo?
