She was when she got bigger, but the cotton line was quite light.  She
started going out when I bought the house and she was only 7 months old and
still small (7 lbs) at the time. You can use a lightweight nylon rope also,
we did that for a while too.  I can send you her tether actually, she won't
need it anymore I'm sorry to say.
